This conference, which is organised in partnership with the universities of Leuven and Perugia, and the Fonds Wetenschappelijk Onderzoek – Vlaanderen (FWO) takes place at the Academia Belgica in Rome from 12 to 14 september 2013. The conference will be bilingual (English-Italian) and will focus on the theory of the short story in Modernism as well as on various case studies coming from different literary traditions.
